Bottom Line: The return of a well crafted menu serves it’s purpose to give us a nice little summer heat and variety. Lets be honest, those prices are not what we’re all used to. So it’s a decision based on nostalgia vs. practical budget. We think it’s worth a try at least once for that burrito. 🌯 The side of lava sauce also works great as a breakfast sandwich topping or cold with some chips.

Bringing back the V-Cut

My second job was working at a Subway. I loved that ‘Sandwich Artist’ title and I was considered cool among my older peers because they would come into the store after a skating and I would hook them up with pretty killer sandwiches.

Anyway, the secret is in the V-Cut. They must have changed it when they realized we could stuff a massive amount of sides in the sandwich, so they got rid of the method. But you can still ask to have it made with the V Cut. Some will get it, some will look at you funny.

• 🍔 Burger King: Free Fries All Year Long: Yes you heard that right, join their rewards program and you get free fries once a week through December 2023 with any purchase. They also have deals like BOGO Whoppers, $7 double Whopper and small fries meal, and a $5 fries and chicken fries meal.

• 🍕 Domino’s: $8 Carryout Pizza & Chicken: This deal is great: $8 for each of the following gets you: a large one topping pizza with any crust, or 8 piece chicken wings, or Dips and Twists combos (carryout only but worth the trip!).

• 🍔 Hardee’s: $6 Star Deals: Hardee's released three new combo meal deals for only $6 each. They come with small fries and small drink, plus your choice of double cheeseburger, original hot ham & cheese sandwich, or 3-piece hand-breaded chicken tenders. For a limited time, you can also grab a jumbo chili dog as part of a $6 Star Deal as well.

• 🥪 Jack in the Box: 2 for $6 Cheddar Biscuit Sandwiches: Choice of sausage or bacon, egg, and American cheese. 🤤

• 🌮 Taco Bell: $5 Chalupa Cravings Box: Taco Bell just raised the price of its best deal item, the My Cravings Box, for the second time to $7. But there's also a brand new Chalupa Cravings box this month, and it's only $5 with a Chalupa supreme, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, crunchy taco, cinnamon twists, and drink. Otherwise, your best bet is to grab the new $13 Meal for Two that comes with two Crunchwrap Supremes, two bean burritos, two soft tacos, and two chips and nacho cheese.

• 🌮 Taco Johns: 3 for $6 Mango Shrimp Street Tacos: $2 Tacos? Yes please! Mango shrimp tacos are filled with fried shrimp, mango salsa, chimichurri sour cream, and lettuce in a flour tortilla. Im sure there’s a menu hack for this one.

• 🍔 Wendy’s: BOGO Biscuit or Croissant Sandwiches: Wendy's has a number of good coupons in the Offers section of its mobile app this month, including buy-one-get-one free breakfast biscuit and croissant sandwiches through July 16. You can also get a 4-piece chicken nugget for $1 with any purchase, or $2 off any premium combo. Otherwise, your best bets are the Four for $4 meal deal with a junior cheeseburger, 4-piece nuggets, fries, and drink, or the $5 Biggie Bag meals.

• 🍗 Wingstop: $17 Boneless Meal Deal: Feeds 3-4 people for just $17! It comes with 20 boneless wings and you choose up to 4 sauce or rubs, plus a large fries and two dips.
