The "Root Beer Float" is one of Chick-fil-A's more common "secret menu" items. So, if you can't decide between a dish of vanilla ice cream and a glass of cold root beer then go ahead and have your cake & eat it too as they say at Chick-fil-A. Most fast food places that offer both a soft-serve treat and root beer will mix this one up for you.

Arby’s Classic Roast Beef Sandwich

The Hard Method (healthy) and the Easy Method (not so healthy)

Ingredients:

• 1 pound beef eye of round roast

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

• 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

• 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

• 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

• 1/4 teaspoon celery salt

• 8 slices of sandwich bread

• 8 tablespoons Arby's Sauce (see recipe below)

• 8 tablespoons Horsey Sauce (see recipe below)

• Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion slices

Arby's Sauce:

• 1/2 cup ketchup

• 2 tablespoons water

• 1 tablespoon brown sugar

• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

• 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

• 1/4 teaspoon paprika

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Horsey Sauce:

• 1/2 cup mayonnaise

• 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

• 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

• 1/2 teaspoon sugar

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

2. Season the beef eye of round roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, dried oregano, and celery salt. Rub the seasonings all over the roast.

3. Place the seasoned roast on a baking rack set inside a baking pan. Roast in the preheated oven for about 60-70 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time if you prefer a different level of doneness.

4. Once cooked, remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Slice the roast thinly against the grain.

5. To make the Arby's Sauce, combine all the Arby's Sauce ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until well combined.

6. To make the Horsey Sauce, mix all the Horsey Sauce ingredients in another small bowl until well blended.

7. Toast the slices of bread if desired.

8. Assemble the sandwiches by spreading 1 tablespoon of Arby's Sauce on one side of each slice of bread. Place a few slices of the roast beef on top of the sauce on one slice of bread.

9. Optionally, add lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion slices on top of the roast beef.

10. Spread 1 tablespoon of Horsey Sauce on the other slice of bread and place it on top of the sandwich.

11. Repeat the process to make additional sandwiches.

12. Serve the Arby's-style Roast Beef Sandwiches immediately and enjoy!

The Easy Beef n Cheddar Method

Want an even easier method for the Beef n Cheddar? (less healthy but extremely easy)

• Pepperidge Farm Onion Rolls or This Similar Item from Amazon

• Kraft Classic Catalina Dressing -Slightly warm to mid-hot

• Fritos Mild Cheddar Cheese -Room temperature

• Target ‘Market Pantry’ 95% Fat Free Roast Beef- This may also work

How to Prepare:

1. Warm the bun in a toaster or air fryer

2. Keep the cheese room temperature

3. Heat the roast beef lightly in a pan or microwave
