FDA Makes Rules Stricter for Imported Seafood, Mushrooms, and Cat Food

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is all about making sure the food that comes from other countries is safe for us to eat. They've got rules, and they use import alerts to make sure other countries are following them. When things change or need an update, the FDA fixes the alerts to make them better.

Recently, there have been some changes to these alerts. These changes are posted for everyone to see on the FDA's website. These tables are like maps that help us understand what's happening with food safety.

Also, there's plenty of guidance out there. You can learn the right temperatures to cook food, how to avoid cross-contamination, and about the germs that can make us sick. Plus, you can check out health department websites and see how restaurants did in their inspections.
