Wendy's Big Promise: Better Ordering on the Way!

Wendy's Big Promise: Better Ordering on the Way!

Have you heard the latest about Wendy's? The new boss of the popular fast-food place, Kirk Tanner, has made a big announcement. Kirk used to work at Pepsi, and now he's ready to splash some cash at Wendy's!Guess how much? A whopping $100 million! 💰

This money is going to be used to make your breakfast trips and online ordering even better. They're planning to spend:

  • $30 million for cool digital screens where you can see the menu

  • $15 million to make their app super-easy to use, and

  • $55 million to tell everyone about how great Wendy’s breakfast is.

    • And that's all going to happen in the next two years!

Kirk Tanner says that Wendy's has some of the delicious menu among fast-food places, and they are doing really well. He believes this is just the beginning, and with these new plans, Wendy’s is going to become even more popular.

But it hasn't all been smooth sailing. Wendy's had to deal with making a little less money last quarter because fewer people were coming in and things were getting more expensive. Yet, Kirk isn't worried. He's pretty excited about making breakfast at Wendy’s even better without hiring a bunch of new people. That way, they can make more money without spending too much.

Speaking of the morning menu, Wendy's is still going to have deals like two items for $3 and some new things for you to try. And they're not stopping there. By the end of 2025, Wendy's wants to have digital screens in all their own restaurants in the US, and they're going to spend $20 million to do it. Plus, they'll use another $10 million to help make these screens even cooler.

Wendy’s is also looking to sell more food online, after getting $2 billion from it last year. They're even thinking about opening more places to eat in the UK and the US.

Let's wait and see what new tasty treats and techy stuff Wendy's comes up with, and maybe treat ourselves to some of their breakfast when we get the chance!
