Michael Jordan and McDonald’s became the first celebrity meal (1992)

Our number one spot has to go to the GOAT of fast food with the GOAT of basketball. Not only that, this celebrity collaboration in fast food was the first of its kind.

The McJordan Burger: A special edition cheeseburger with pickles, raw onion, circular bacon, and BBQ sauce on a sesame seed bun, available only in McDonald's Chicago locations.

This meal was $3.59 in 1992 and by using an Inflation Calculator, that same meal would cost $7.80 in 2024. Unfortunately fast food is no longer cheap; where most meals at McDonald’s are hovering in the $15.00 range.
